In reality, the electric control valve has been widely used in industry and mining. The electric control ball valve is usually composed of angular stroke electric actuator and butterfly valve through mechanical connection, after installation and debugging. Electric control ball valve according to the action mode classification: switch type and regulation type. The following is a further description of the electric control ball valve.
There are two main points in the installation of electric control ball valve
1) The installation position, height and direction of inlet and outlet must meet the design requirements. The direction of medium flow shall be consistent with the direction of arrow marked on the valve body, and the connection shall be firm and tight.
2) Before the installation of the electric control ball valve, the appearance inspection must be carried out, and the valve name plate shall comply with the current national standard "manual valve mark" GB 12220. For the valve with working pressure greater than 1.0 MPa and cut-off function on the main pipe, the strength and tightness test shall be conducted before installation, and the valve can only be used after it is qualified. During the strength test, the test pressure shall be 1.5 times of the nominal pressure, the duration shall not be less than 5min, and the valve shell and packing shall be qualified if there is no leakage.
According to the structure, the electric control ball valve can be divided into offset plate, vertical plate, inclined plate and lever type. According to the sealing form, it can be divided into two types: relatively sealed type and hard sealed type. The soft seal type is usually sealed with rubber ring, while the hard seal type is usually sealed with metal ring.
According to the connection type, the electric control ball valve can be divided into flange connection and pair clamp connection; according to the transmission mode, it can be divided into manual, gear transmission, pneumatic, hydraulic and electric.
Installation and maintenance of electric control ball valve
1. During installation, the disc should stop at the closed position.
2. The opening position should be determined according to the rotation angle of the ball.
3. For ball valve with bypass valve, the bypass valve should be opened before opening.
4. The electric control ball valve shall be installed according to the installation instructions of the manufacturer, and the heavy ball valve shall be provided with a firm foundation.
