August 2024 — Mali — Shanghai EasyReal Machinery Co., Ltd. (EasyReal, easireal.com) completed the installation of a Tomato Paste Dilution Production Line with Sachet Packages for K alimentaire, a food company in Mali. The line packs 50g four-side-seal sachets and runs at 6000 sachets per hour. The processing capacity is 500 L/hour.
This project focuses on a clear and stable production process. The customer uses 200L and 220L aseptic bag tomato paste as the main raw material. The line dilutes and blends the paste, heats it under control, and packs it into sachets for ambient distribution.
• Customer: K alimentaire
• Country: Mali
• Project: Tomato Paste Dilution Production Line with Sachet Packages
• Filling speed: 6000 sachets/hour
• Processing capacity: 500 L/hour
• Packaging: 50g four-side-seal sachets
• Storage: ambient storage
• Shelf life: 1 year (under proper conditions)
• Installation completed: August 2024
Raw Material
The line works with:
• 200L and 220L aseptic bags of tomato paste
Aseptic bags make upstream supply more flexible. They also help reduce storage risk before dilution.
Finished Product
The line produces:
• 50g tomato paste sachets (four-side seal)
This pack format is compact. It is easy to transport. It also fits many retail and food service use cases.
This line turns bulk tomato paste into ready-to-sell sachets. It does three key jobs:
1. Dilution and blending
2. Stable heat treatment
3. High-speed sachet packing and post-pack handling
The line keeps each step connected. It helps operators run the plant with stable output and repeatable quality.
The line follows a straightforward route:
1. Open and feed aseptic tomato paste
2. Add water and blend to reach the target concentration
3. Inline high-pressure mixing for uniform texture
4. Tubular sterilization for stable safety control
5. Four-side-seal sachet packing (50g) at high speed
6. Post-filling pasteurization using a water-bath system
7. Post-filling cooling using a water-bath cooling system
8. Vibration dewatering to remove surface water
9. Flip-over air drying to dry the sachet surface
10. Case packing for storage and shipment
This sequence supports a stable production process from bulk input to packed output.
Blending and Dilution System
The blending system controls concentration and taste balance. It supports stable feeding to the heat-treatment stage. It also helps reduce batch-to-batch variation.
Inline High-Pressure Mixing Unit
Tomato paste is thick. Dilution can create uneven texture if mixing is weak. Inline high-pressure mixing improves uniformity. It helps keep color and texture consistent.
Automatic Tubular Sterilizer
The line uses a tubular sterilizer. It supports controlled heating for tomato paste products. It also fits viscous fluids better than some open systems. Stable temperature control helps protect safety and quality.
Four-Side-Seal Sachet Packing Machine
The sachet machine forms, fills, and seals 50g packs. It targets stable sealing and stable weight control at high speed. Good sealing is critical for ambient shelf life.
Post-Filling Pasteurization and Cooling
After filling, the line uses:
• Water-bath pasteurization
• Water-bath cooling
This step helps control safety after packaging. It also improves final stability before drying and packing.
Dewatering and Drying
Wet sachets cause problems in coding and cartoning. This line includes:
• Vibration dewatering machine
• Flip-over air dryer
These steps reduce water carryover and help keep packaging clean.
Case Packing
The case packing system supports faster end-of-line handling. It also helps standardize carton output.
A stable plant needs stable utilities. This project includes:
• CIP cleaning system
• Pure water preparation system
• Air compressor system
• Fuel-fired steam boiler (steam supply for heating)
These systems support daily operation. They also help keep cleaning and hygiene under control.
Tomato paste needs strong mixing
Tomato paste has high solids and high viscosity. Dilution must stay uniform. Inline high-pressure mixing helps reduce stratification. It helps keep the product consistent during long runs.
Heat treatment must stay stable
A stable heat-treatment step supports product safety. It also helps control quality. The tubular sterilizer supports steady flow and steady temperature control.
Post-pack handling matters at high speed
At 6000 sachets/hour, small issues grow fast. Wet packs can reduce efficiency. Dry packs run better in packing and coding. That is why the line uses dewatering and air drying.
This line is designed for ambient storage and a 1-year shelf life (under proper conditions). Three factors support this goal:
1. Controlled heat treatment in the sterilization step
2. Reliable sealing in four-side-seal sachet packaging
3. Post-filling pasteurization and cooling for added stability
Operators still need correct recipes and correct operating settings. Good hygiene also matters. The CIP system helps support consistent cleaning routines.
EasyReal delivered an integrated solution for this project. The scope covers:
• line design and process integration
• equipment matching across key steps
• utilities matching (steam, air, water, CIP)
• installation support and on-site commissioning guidance
The result is a practical sachet line for tomato paste dilution and packing in Mali.
