High-Protein Fluid Food Research at Pilot Scale

The January 2026 project for 山东御馨生物科技有限公司 (Shandong Yuxin / XiangChi) in China features an EasyReal Pilot UHT/HTST–DSI Plant for experiments and formulation development with high-protein fluid foods. Exploring Formulation and Processing Together

For high-protein fluid food development, formulation work and processing trials need to be considered together. The pilot setup provides a platform for studying how a selected formulation responds to different thermal-processing and homogenization configurations before decisions are made about a larger production process.

The tubular sterilizer and direct steam injection/infusion module provide indirect and direct heating options for research. The inline homogenizer can be used for upstream inline homogenization or aseptic downstream inline homogenization, allowing the research team to investigate homogenization at different stages of processing.

From Pilot Trials to Sample Evaluation

The aseptic filling cabinet supports sample collection after processing. Researchers can use these samples in their own formulation evaluation and testing programmes. Specific operating conditions, product suitability and sample-testing protocols must be established for each formulation; the equipment configuration alone does not establish a finished product’s shelf life or performance.
