EasyReal has successfully tested a carbonated beverage R&D filling machine for Engineer Zhang's IFF Russia project. The equipment supports beverage development work by bringing sample preparation and filling into a compact laboratory and pilot-scale workflow.
The four videos below show filling inside the guarded station, close-up equipment operation, can closing and inspection of filled samples. Together, they provide a practical view of the test and the steps involved in preparing packaged carbonated beverage samples.
EasyReal's lab-scale carbonation and filling equipment brings cooling, carbonation, controlled filling and closure preparation into a compact development setup. It is designed for beverage laboratories and pilot teams preparing small batches of carbonated samples, from sparkling water and flavored soda to other beverage formulations that require application-specific evaluation.
For development work, the aim is to connect the beverage formula with the conditions used to prepare the finished sample. Product temperature, carbonation settings, filling behavior and packaging all influence what the development team observes when a sample is filled, sealed and opened.
The equipment range supports a process that moves from product cooling and carbonation to filling under controlled pressure conditions. Depending on the selected program and configuration, the filling sequence can include CO2 flushing, container pressurization, product filling and pressure release before closure.
Operators can review process settings through the HMI and adjust relevant temperature, pressure, carbonation and filling parameters for the application. Recording these conditions alongside foam behavior, filling results and sample observations helps teams compare different formula versions and repeat promising trial conditions.
Container selection is an important part of the development process. EasyReal's related pilot demonstration shows handling and filling PET bottles, glass bottles and aluminum cans. Each format requires the appropriate container support, filling fixture and closure arrangement.
Bottle capping and can seaming are evaluated according to the actual packaging. Can closing uses an additional seaming arrangement. Bottle drawings or physical samples, neck finish, cap type, container dimensions and intended sample volume help establish the tooling and closure configuration required for a project.
A compact sample-filling setup helps development teams assess how a beverage behaves beyond the mixing stage. Trials can focus on carbonation character, foam during filling, container handling, closure quality and the appearance of the finished sample. These observations provide a practical basis for formulation discussions, packaging evaluation and planning later pilot trials.
Cleaning between formulations is also part of the workflow. Cleaning arrangements, product-contact materials and any additional oxygen-management requirements should be reviewed against the ingredients and testing objectives.
