Product Detail

Description of EasyReal Kiwifruit Processing Line

The EasyReal Kiwifruit Processing Line delivers a reliable, high-yield system designed for fruit processors seeking premium quality.
From intake to aseptic packaging, every step protects the rich nutrition and unique tangy-sweet flavor of kiwifruit.

Our line starts with a brushing and air bubble washing section. It removes dirt, hairs, and pesticide residues.

Next, the kiwi pulping and refining unit separates seeds and skin. It produces a smooth, homogeneous puree for juice or concentrate.

For concentration, our falling-film evaporators reduce water content at low temperatures. This keeps color and vitamin C intact.

We use gentle heat treatments and tube-in-tube sterilizers to kill enzymes and microbes without affecting taste.
Finally, we integrate aseptic filling systems that seal product in sterile bags or bottles, ready for long shelf life.

The whole line runs on a smart PLC + HMI control system. You can monitor temperature, flow, and output in real time.
The system ensures traceability, data logging, and energy optimization.

Application Scenarios of EasyReal Kiwifruit Processing Line

EasyReal’s kiwifruit processing line meets the needs of a wide range of clients:

Juice brands that need cold-pressed or clear kiwi juice for healthy drink lines.

Puree exporters who supply to baby food and smoothie factories.

Concentrate producers who target beverage blends and flavor compounds.

Jam makers who sell kiwi marmalade, fruit spreads, and fillings.

Functional food companies seeking antioxidant-rich bases for supplements.

You can produce multiple formats with one line:
• Not-from-concentrate (NFC) juice
• Clear juice (via enzymatic clarification)
• Kiwi puree with or without seeds
• 30–45 Brix concentrate
• Kiwi jam or candied kiwi base

We offer modular design options. This means you can add clarification, enzymatic processing, or concentration steps based on your final product goals.

Whether you process local orchard harvests or import frozen kiwifruit, our system supports seasonal and year-round operations.
Our lines run in China, Chile, Iran, Italy, and New Zealand—adapting to regional fruit varieties and market needs.

How to Choose the Right Kiwifruit Processing Line Configuration

Choosing the right kiwi line depends on three key factors: output capacity, end products, and packaging format.

1.By Output Capacity
• Small scale (300–1000 kg/h): Ideal for farm cooperatives, pilot plants, and niche puree producers.
• Medium scale (2–5 tons/h): Common for regional processors, jam makers, and OEM suppliers.
• Large scale (10–20 tons/h): For industrial puree and concentrate factories with global export channels.

2.By End Product Type
• Juice (NFC or clear): Needs enzymatic treatment and centrifugal clarification.
• Puree: Uses pulping and refining units with optional de-aerators.
• Concentrate: Adds falling-film evaporation and Brix control.
• Jam: Requires sugar dosing, vacuum cooking, and pasteurization.

3.By Packaging Format
• Aseptic bags (1–220L): Long shelf life for puree or concentrate.
• Glass bottles or PET: Retail-ready juice lines.
• Cans: Exportable jam or sweet paste.
• Pouches or cups: For snack packs and blended purées.

EasyReal helps you choose based on local markets, fruit characteristics, and energy cost structures.
We also support dual-format packaging setups for seasonal product shifts.

Flow Chart of Kiwifruit Processing Steps

Raw Kiwifruit → Washing → Sorting → Crushing → Pulping & Refining →
Optional: Enzymatic Clarification →  Concentration (if needed) → Sterilization → Aseptic Filling → Final Product

We can tailor each step to your product goal:
• For puree, we skip clarification and retain some fiber.
• For clear juice, we add enzyme treatment and disc centrifuges.
• For jam, we add a vacuum cooker and sugar blending unit.

All steps connect via sanitary piping and CIP-ready valves. The full line supports easy cleaning and low downtime.

Key Equipment in the Kiwifruit Processing Line

1. Kiwifruit Air Blowing and Washing Machine & Brush Cleaning Machine

This machine combines a rotary brush drum and air bubble tank. It removes surface hairs, mud, and agrochemical residues.

The brushes gently scrub the kiwi skin while bubbles lift dirt off. A spray bar rinses fruit with clean water.

Compared to traditional washers, it uses less water and handles delicate golden kiwi better.
You can adjust the brush speed and bubble intensity to match fruit softness.

The washer includes a sediment tank with mesh filter for waste collection. It prepares fruit for clean peeling.

2. Kiwifruit Crushing, Pulping and Refining Unit

This system separates kiwi pulp from seeds and fiber. It uses high-speed rotors and a fine mesh drum.

The first stage crushes and de-seeds. The second stage removes fine peel and fiber.

You can adjust mesh size (0.4–1.2 mm) based on the product.
Refining ensures a smooth puree for juice or jam.

Compared with basic pulpers, EasyReal’s two-stage design improves yield and texture.
The motor-driven system is CIP-compatible for easy cleaning.

3. Kiwifruit Enzymatic Clarification System

For clear juice production, this unit uses food-grade enzymes to break down pectin and cloud-forming compounds.

We dose enzymes into the mash and hold the mixture at 45–55°C for 30–60 minutes.
This process clarifies the juice and improves filtration performance.

After enzyme treatment, we use disc stack centrifuges or decanter centrifuges to remove solids.

This system ensures brilliant clarity, low turbidity, and improved juice stability.
The modular design allows skipping this step when producing puree or NFC juice.

We include temperature-controlled tanks, enzyme dosing pumps, and automatic agitation.

4. Kiwifruit Falling-Film Evaporator

This system concentrates kiwi juice or puree into 30–45 Brix concentrate.
It uses vertical falling-film tubes where product flows down as a thin film.

Steam surrounds the tubes to gently heat the product without damaging flavor or vitamin C.
We use multi-effect design to save energy—each stage uses vapor from the previous stage.

Compared with traditional pan evaporators, it prevents caramelization and preserves green color.
Our evaporators are made of SUS316 and include vacuum pumps, condensers, and CIP ports.

Output flow is adjustable. It supports both batch and continuous concentration.

5. Tube-in-Tube Sterilizer

This sterilizer heats kiwi juice or puree using hot water in outer tubes and product in inner tubes.

It ensures precise heat transfer and avoids burning.
We control outlet temperature and holding time to destroy microbes and deactivate enzymes.

Typical sterilization is at 95–110°C for 15–30 seconds.
After sterilization, product flows to aseptic tanks or directly to the filler.

The system includes a plate heat exchanger for preheating and a back-pressure valve for product consistency.
Compared with direct steam systems, it preserves more aroma and structure.

6. Aseptic Filling System for Kiwifruit Products

This system fills sterilized kiwi juice, puree, or concentrate into pre-sterilized bags or containers.

We offer bag-in-drum (1–220L), bag-in-box (5–20L), or PET bottle options.
The filler operates in a clean chamber with steam protection and air filtration.

It includes a servo-controlled filling head, weight sensors, and temperature check sensors.
Each filling valve seals automatically to prevent recontamination.

The system is fully CIP and SIP ready.
Compared with semi-auto bag fillers, EasyReal’s aseptic filler reduces manual work and ensures long shelf stability.

Material Adaptability & Output Flexibility

EasyReal’s Kiwifruit Processing Line handles a wide range of raw materials and end-product goals.
It supports green kiwifruit (Hayward), golden kiwifruit, organic or conventional fruit, and even frozen/thawed materials.

Our brushing and peeling systems adjust pressure and speed for different skin types.
Soft fruits go through gentle conveying. For firmer kiwi, we increase abrasion time.

We help you shift between juice, puree, concentrate, or jam formats by selecting bypass valves and switchable units.
You can process:

● Whole fresh kiwifruit

● De-stemmed or frozen fruit

● Peeled and diced kiwi for higher throughput

You can also flex your output. For example:

● Run NFC juice during harvest, and produce concentrate post-season

● Produce puree for local snack brands and concentrate for global syrup suppliers

● Make kiwi jam in small batches using modular cooking sections

This gives you flexibility in both raw input and final packaging—ideal for seasonal producers or OEM exporters.

Smart Control System by EasyReal

EasyReal equips the entire kiwifruit processing line with a fully integrated PLC + HMI smart control system.
This system helps you control production precisely, track data, and reduce operator errors.

Our control system use Siemens PLCs and touchscreen HMIs. Operators can start or stop sections, monitor real-time parameters, and access recipe programs with a few taps.

You can adjust:

● Washing time and water flow

● Pulping and refining rotor speed

● Sterilization temperature and hold time

● Filling volume, valve pressure, and output records

The system logs production data, alarms, temperature curves, and flow rates.
